BUSINESS & PUBLIC SERVICES

Job Search Tools

The Business Internship Office does not place students in a position, but rather assists students in their job search. Finding an internship position is a competitive process.  Students must apply for positions and interview for them just like any other job. The employer makes all decisions regarding hiring.

Searching on your own is essentialIf there is a particular company for which you would like to work, such as Lexis Nexis or Reynolds & Reynolds, it is important to check that company’s website regularly. Below is a list of links that may be helpful. Remember to set search parameters to locations you are willing to consider, and try using different terms such as "co-op" in addition to a search for "internship", as some employers use these terms interchangeably.

In addition to the above links, our office has created a new Internship Community within Angel (found at my.sinclair.edu). While we do not place or guarantee a position for individual students, we are working hard to obtain opportunities with local employers. This is where we will post any internship openings that we have received notice of directly, many of which will not be posted anywhere else. Only students who will be eligible to register for an internship course in the upcoming semester will be granted access. Please contact or visit the Internship Office for more information.
