The Walt Disney World Resort in Florida has been the workplace for internships for nearly 300 Sinclair Community College students since 1992. The internship program expanded as of fall 2008 and now includes Disneyland, California, and this expanded program is now the Disney Theme Parks and Resorts College Program. Sinclair students who interview and are invited to become Disney Cast Members can live and work, from 4-6 months, at either the Disney Theme Parks and Resorts in Florida or at Disneyland in California.
The Disney College Program provides Sinclair students with Living, Learning and Earning experiences in Florida and California. The Living experience allows Sinclair students to grow by allowing them to be on their own, many miles away from family and friends. Learning can take place by attending Disney University classes that have been approved for college credit by the American Council on Education. Earning an hourly wage, for the 30-40 hours worked per week, allows student to bring home a pay check.
Disney recruiters visit the Sinclair campus two (2) times a year to interview students to work at Walt Disney World Florida and Disneyland California. Disney recruiters usually visit our campus in fall and winter quarters. The next official Disney recruits will be:
