<p class=3DMsoNormal><span style=3D'font-family:Arial'>But White has spent =

<p class=3DMsoNormal><span style=3D'font-family:Arial'>&nbsp;</span></p>

<p class=3DMsoNormal><span style=3D'font-family:Arial'>More law firms today=
 are
using experienced paralegals such as White for more challenging tasks as law
firms try to reduce costs -- an hour of a paralegal's time costs much less =
than
that of a lawyer's. The Bureau of Labor Statistics reported employment of
paralegals nationwide is expected to grow 27 percent or more from 2006 to 2=

That nationwide trend already is happening in <st1:City w:st=3D"on"><st1:pl=

<p class=3DMsoNormal><span style=3D'font-family:Arial'>Sebaly Shillito &amp=

<p class=3DMsoNormal><span style=3D'font-family:Arial'>&nbsp;</span></p>

<p class=3DMsoNormal><span style=3D'font-family:Arial'>Wolff added that the=

said the firm's paralegal-to-lawyer ratio is unusually high. Last year, <st=

<p class=3DMsoNormal><span style=3D'font-family:Arial'>Dayton's largest law=

<p class=3DMsoNormal><span style=3D'font-family:Arial'>Hammarlund agreed th=

of the reason for the greater demand for paralegals is that their time is l=

the median annual salary of a lawyer as of May 2004 was $94,930, while the
median annual earnings of a paralegal were $39,130. </span></p>

<p class=3DMsoNormal><span style=3D'font-family:Arial'>Some law firms are s=

<p class=3DMsoNormal><span style=3D'font-family:Arial'>And more certificati=

The exam requires paralegals have various amounts of experience and educati=

For example, a paralegal with a high school diploma must have worked seven
