ALL BUSINESS MANAGEMENT DEGREE/CERTIFICATE STUDENTS AND SELECTED BUSINESS ADMINISTRATION TRANSFER MAJORS

Please read the following information carefully
 
Business Management Concentration (GBM)
 
The following MAN courses are no longer available. MAN 216; MAN 226; MAN 243; MAN 251;
MAN 278; and MAN 295.  The prerequisites for MAN 255 are now MAT 121 or MAT 116 and MAN 205.
 
MAN 279 (5 hours) will replace MAN 295 and MAN 278. The prerequisite courses for MAN 279 and MAN 270 will be MAN 205; MRK 201; MAT 122 and 9 hours of MAN/MRK courses. (Discuss MAN 270 Internship options with Co Op/Internship coordinator for next steps).
 
ENT 105 will be removed from this concentration for new students starting Fall Quarter 2009.
 
Entrepreneurship Concentration (ENT)
 
The course ENT 260 will become a five (5) credit hour course and ENT 278 will be deactivated. There will be no substitute course.
 
Supply Chain Management Concentration (SCM)
 
MAN 243 and MAN 251 have been deactivated. They will be replaced with OPT 251 (5 hrs) which will be offered starting Winter Quarter 2010.
 
In order to receive the necessary adjustment to your Degree Audit, please go to the website for the Business & Public Services Division at www.sinclair.edu/academics/bps , complete and return the online Adjust/Change Major/ or Evaluation Request form, and specify the correction(s) to be processed. Once the adjustment is made, you will be able to accurately track the remaining program requirements, grades and academic status using the Web Advisor.
 
If you do not have access to a computer or wish additional assistance, please stop by the Academic Advising Center, and speak directly to a Business advisor.
