Philosophy
The Sinclair Community College Emergency Medical Services Department is committed to: Providing quality education in prehospital emergency medical care which meets or exceeds the nationally established standards; Creating an environment that recognizes the students' dignity and that gives each student considerate and respectful attention; Utilizing a variety of teaching methodologies that fosters student motivation for learning to the best of their capabilities.

Accredited by the Ohio Department of Public Safety, Division of Emergency Medical Services, this department provides classroom, laboratory, in-hospital, and field clinical experience.

Pursuant to Section 4765.11 of the Ohio Revised Code and having fulfilled the requirements set forth in Section 4765.16 of the Ohio Revised Code, Sinclair Community College, has been issued a Certificate of Accreditation to conduct Emergency Medical Technician EMT-Basic Education in the State of Ohio.  Certificate of Accreditation expires 5/31/2004, certificate number 326.
