Paramedic Packet- Must be an Ohio licensed Emergency Medical Technician (EMT). This program requires 4 semesters of course work. Once completed, students are prepared to sit for the state certification examination. Course prerequisites: College level reading, writing math, and Human Anatomy & Physiology I (Sinclair credit course # BIO-1121) or equivalent. Must attend mandatory orientation session prior to start of Fall or Spring semester. An FBI/BCI fingerprint background check will be required. See packet for all forms to be completed in order to register for paramedic program.
Fall 2015 Semester Orientation Dates:
- July 28, 2015 9AM to 1PM
- August 12, 2015 6PM to 10PM
- August 17, 2015 9AM to 1PM.
Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) Packet - (Sinclair credit course #'s EMS 1150/1155) This certification is an entry level position for functioning on an ambulance. Requires 7 credit hours and successful completion of state certification examination. Must be 18 years old. Course prerequisites: College level reading and writing. Emergency Medical Responder (EMR) Packet – (Sinclair credit course # EMS 1100) - This level is geared for the delivery of emergency medical care by non-medical personnel; e.g., police, safety team members, etc. There is NO signature required for registration. You may register in person or online.
