Network Engineering

The Network Engineer area of concentration builds skill in preparation for Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) certification.  Students design, install and maintain network systems and network hardware and software.  Learn fundamental router concepts and how to configure and manage routers.  Conduct network systems analysis.  Master concepts of networking in an Internet/intrament environment.  Learn LAN switching theory, VLANs, advanced LAN and Novell IPX.  Master WAN theory, design and technology, including PPP, Fram Relay and ISDN.
