How to burn an ELMs \ MSDNAA disk

Under your account you can see the software that is available for download.

Click the download link beside the software you want.

Go to download options

Click what you need to download

Click start download

When the File Download box pops up select save

Save the download .exe to the desktop.

Double click on the download exe. It is a blue circle with a lightning bolt on the computer desktop.

Select run when it asks if it has permission to run this file.

Select start download

At this point it will start to download the .iso file.

WHEN THE DOWNLOAD COMPLETES A BOX WILL APPEAR

DO NOT CLICK LAUNCH INSTALL.

Close the box using the red X in the upper right hand corner.

The ISO file is stored on the C: drive under a folder called TEMP

Now open Roxio Creator classic.

In the bottom right hand corner click on Default recorder and change it to Plextor if using the external DVD burner.

Click File in the upper left hand corner and select Record disk from image.

Under “Look in” Navigate to MY COMPUTER/windows XP C: / temp/ then the folder the iso file is in.

The file you are going to burn should end with .iso

Click open after you select the image file.

Click OK and it will start to burn you disk.

When it is done click close.

Then click OK

Check the disk to make sure that the files have been written to the disk

 The disk burning process has completed.
