The Computer Information Systems program at Sinclair Community College can prepare you for a career in the growing area of computer programming. You will acquire applied technical knowledge...along with training in management, accounting and structured program development for business applications using computer languages such COBOL, "C", "C++", and Visual Basic.

What is the Computer Information System (CIS) program at Sinclair?

Computer Information Systems has multiple tracks designed to offer skills in computer support services, programming, and information systems. Sinclair Community College's curriculum follows the guidelines established by the Association of Information Technology Professionals (AITP) & Association of Computing Machinery (ACM).

What will students learn in the CIS program?

Students will gain valuable hands-on experience and knowledge, using the latest personal computer and network hardware/software.
