Brief Description of Program:

The Southernwestern Ohio Council for Higher Education (SOCHE) is a not-for-profit consortium of 20 colleges and universities, one foundation, and two corporations. The consortium was formed to promote service and inter-institutional cooperation; to hold conferences for representatives of the teaching and research faculty and staff, library and administrative staff; to serve as a clearinghouse for the exchange of information; to conduct cooperative programs in teaching, research, enrichment of student life; and to foster lectures, concerts and exhibits. The mission continues today.
