Central State University is a great to place to launch your dream of becoming a college graduate. Our challenging curriculum provides a strong background in the liberal arts as well as specialized courses in your major field. Central State University has developed highly regarded programs in the arts, education, and business and industry. Located approximately 18 miles East of Dayton, in Wilberforce; Central State University is accessible by local bus service to Xenia and Wilberforce.

Small Classesand Plenty of Personal Attention

Full-time faculty conduct instruction to create a student-faculty ratio of approximately 18:1. In addition to their teaching and scholarship, faculty members have a deep commitment to helping students outside of the classroom. Faculty is involved in academic advising not only during the registration periods but throughout the academic year.

Approximately 89 percent of all full-time enrolled students receive financial aid. Our financial aid staff will explain the various financial aid programs, and provide assistance with completing necessary forms. Transfer Scholar Award

Students graduating from a two-year college with at least a 3.0 cumulative grade point average may apply for the Transfer Scholar Award. This renewable award covers instructional fees, room and board charges each year. Contact the Office of Admissions for further information.
