Brief Description of Program:
Program: Accelerated degree completion program designed for working adults age 23and older.
Degree: Bachelor of Arts in Organizational Management
Time: With 60 hours of accumulated college credit, one can enter and complete the Program in as few as three semesters.
Calendar: Non-traditional, up to 20 students begin in August or January and go through the program with the same group of adults.
Format: Relies less on traditional lectures and more on the challenge of group interaction, role playing and simulation.
Coursework: Prepares students to deal effectively with people, further develops their abilities in creative thinking, decision-making and problem-solving; and increases their understanding of ethics, particularly as it relates to their employment.
Assists in enhancing students’ written and oral communication skills, as well as increasing their self-confidence.
Eliminates trips to Registrar, Business Office and Bookstore so that students may concentrate on learning.
Entrance Requirements: Two years (60 semester hours / 90 quarter hours) of transferable college work, associates degree is not required.
Credit for Learning through Life Experience: Students may earn up to 24 semester credits through portfolio development.
