TRANSFER CREDIT REQUEST INSTRUCTIONS
|
|
All transcripts used towards your Business and Public Services academic program/major must be sent directly from the former institution(s) to: Sinclair Community College No “hand delivered” transcripts will be accepted by the Office of Registration & Student Records. After receiving written notification from the Registrar that transfer credits have been received, you will find two reports. The first will be a Transfer Equivalency Report detailing the courses transferred from your former institution along with the Sinclair courses to which they equate. The second is a Degree Audit (program evaluation) showing how the transferred courses apply to your current academic goal. (NOTE: You will not receive a Degree Audit if you are in a "pre" program or are shown as either personal interest or career development). If additional course descriptive information is needed for courses you believe you should have received credit but do not appear on your report, please supply that information to a Business & Public Services academic advisor located in the Academic Advising Center (Building 11-Room 11-346), and it will be forwarded to the appropriate Department Chairperson for further review. A final Degree Audit showing the application of all usable transfer and Sinclair credits will then be mailed to you. It will also be accessible from the Web Advisor (Login to my.Sinclair; Click "Web Advisor”; Click “Student”) or from any on campus In Touch Kiosk (Go to “Personal Records”; Click on “Degree Audit”) |
