Welcome to Research, Analytics & Systems Development (RASD)
 
Michael Burns directs the Research, Analytics and Systems Development (RASD) department which is made up of the Administrative Systems, Web Systems, and Research, Analytics and Reporting (RAR) units.
 
Administrative Systems is responsible for maintaining the enterprise software that is used to support the student services and business offices of the college.
 
Web Systems supports Sinclair’s web sites, which include the Internet, Intranet, and Portal, plus the Angel online learning management system. In addition, Web Systems develops web-based, custom applications to support essential college processes. 
 
Research, Analytics and Reporting is the official source for all institutional data related to enrollment matters. The department handles the majority of external reports required by regulatory bodies as well as approved information requests for a wide variety of other organizations.
 
In addition, RAR is responsible for the development and maintenance of the college’s data warehouse and DAWN information portal. RAR provides data analysis, data validation, and data reporting services for the entire college.
