Sinclair College is committed to the goal of enhancing economic opportunities for minority-owned and woman-owned business enterprises in the Miami Valley. Therefore, Sinclair welcomes and encourages qualified minority and woman business enterprises to participate in contracts. Similarly, we encourage non-minority contractors to demonstrate their commitment to supplier diversity through active partnership with or participation by minority contractors.
Sinclair's long-term objective is to attain 15% of its annual volume in Tier I minority and woman-owned spend. The college seeks to accomplish this goal by cultivating and sustaining the Equal Opportunity Supplier Diversity Program through a number of vehicles including networking at the local, regional, and state levels, enhanced supplier diversity marketing and education, and refined monitoring and granulated capture of spend.

Sinclair College also seeks to obtain 10% of its annual volume with minority-owned and woman-owned subcontractors. To assist us in reaching this objective, we strongly encourage a good faith effort from our Tier I suppliers. By using specific guidelines and a detailed subcontracting plan, we proactively monitor our progress and work to circumvent any perceived challenges. To learn more about our good faith effort guidelines and subcontracting plan, please contact our Purchasing Department at email@example.com.
Sinclair College's supplier diversity efforts recognized in the Ohio Minority Supplier Development Council's annual Connections Magazine.
