The Sinclair Community College Police Department is hosting its 26th Annual Safety Awareness Expo on Wednesday, September 18, 2013. The Expo is co-sponsored by the Miami Valley Crime Prevention Association.

The day’s activities will be held on the Sinclair plaza outside Building 10 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. and include 40 area police departments, law enforcement agencies, safety-related organizations and Sinclair clubs and organizations featuring interactive displays.

A variety of live demonstrations will feature child safety seat demonstrations by AAA Miami Valley and police dog tactics. K-9 demonstrations will take place as well as repelling exercises off one of Sinclair's tallest buildings. Representatives from Sinclair student service organizations and student clubs will also be on hand to answer questions and provide demonstrations as part of the activities.
