Multimedia Services is responsible for providing instructional media support for internal and external customers of Sinclair Community College.
Key Responsibilities Include:

Establishing policies in regard to the use of departmental equipment and services for both internal and external customers;

Providing proper support for the interactive classrooms used by Distance Learning;

Administering an effective maintenance program for all media related equipment on campus, including the Multimedia classrooms;

Informing college customers of equipment and services available to them through Multimedia services and provide instruction in the use of equipment as needed;

Assist in the planning of new or the updating of existing facilities;

Evaluating services provided by the department and determining how they can be improved by staff and/or equipment changes;

Researching and evaluating new media equipment and technologies;
-
Establishing and maintaining contacts with appropriate vendors to keep up with the latest models and pricing for media equipment.
