Computerworld's Infrastructure Management World selected Sinclair's ITS department as a finalist in the Best Practices in Infrastructure Management Awards Program in the category of "Security, Compliance and Risk Maqnagement." The awards were announced September, 2007, during Computerworld's Infrastructure Management World Conference in Scottsdale, AZ.

Sinclair placed in the "Security, Compliance and Risk Management" category by exhibiting the required criteria (presented in the Computerworld article) of "keeping the infrastructure secure, using the policies and practices that Sinclair has implemented to maintain standards and protect against potential threats."
