Sinclair Community College Wins National Communications Technology Award

ACUTA, the Association for Communications Technology Professionals in Higher Education, has chosen Sinclair Community College as the recipient of the Institutional Excellence in Communications Technology Award for 2006. The award was presented to Scott McCollum, Director of ITS, July 26 during the ACUTA annual conference in San Diego.

The top honor was captured for a Secure Local Area Network Strategy project, which was developed in response to significant growth in both wired and wireless networking.
