Differences between Honors Program and Honor Society

Primary Objectives:

  • The Honors Program is an academic program where students take classes for Honors credit
  • Phi Theta Kappa is the International Honor Society of Two-year Colleges whose focus is service, leadership, scholarship and fellowship.

Student Eligibility:

  • Any Sinclair student can enroll in Honors classes
  • Only students with a 3.5 GPA and 15 hours completed are eligible to join Phi Theta Kappa
