Microsoft Office Software

Office 2007 Professional is available for installation on faculty and staff campus PCs.

However, prior to installing Office 2007 on your campus PC, you must successfully complete an Office 2007 assessment.  For more information go to Office 2007.

 NOTE:  2003 Microsoft software is on the computer without taking the assessment.

 An Office 2007 Assessment/Training community has been created in my.sinclair.edu.

McAfee Virus Scan software

McAfee anti-virus software is installed on all college owned computers.  Software is updated automatically.

Microsoft Office Software

  • Go to my.sinclair.edu.  Click on the Office 2007 Assessment/Training link under Community Groups in my.sinclair.edu to get  information about training options and to take the assessment.
  • Contact Help Desk after assessment is completed

McAfee Virus Software 

If software is not updating or you find a virus on your computer:

Microsoft Operating System and Office is available for home use. 

  • Employee and Department Manager must sign a Campus Agreement Form

  • Virus detection and disinfection software is available to full and part-time Sinclair employees (student employees do not have home use rights for McAfee).

Microsoft Software

  • Microsoft Office Software can be picked up from the Tartan Campus Store.  You must first fill out a form and have your Dean/director sign the form. 

McAfee Virus Scan software

  • The McAfee Virus Scan software is free and available for checkout in the LRC.   Please take your Tartan Card to check out materials in the Library.
