Password Reset Tool

  • Your Tartan Card number or your last 4 digits of your SSN are required to use the Password Reset Tool.
  • Your information being verified is using information that you provided to the Sinclair Registration or Human Resources.

 
Faculty, Staff and Students are required to change their network passwords every ninety (90) days. Users will receive an email reminder in their sinclair email account.  Faculty and staff will receive a reminder message during the network login process to change their password before it expires.

 

Users should create secure, hard-to-guess passwords. Secure passwords: are at least eight (8) characters in length; contain a combination of upper and lower-case letters, numbers, and symbols; and do NOT consist of common names or words. Your new password cannot be the same as any of your previous 13 passwords.

Changing Your Password On-Campus
After logging on to the system, you can change your password at any time by pressing Ctrl +Alt +DEL and selecting the “Change Password” option from the dialogue box. This option is particularly useful if you use Sinclair’s “Colleague” administration system and want to change your network password to mirror your Colleague password.

 

Changing Your Password through Outlook Web Access
You can also change your password while accessing Outlook through the Web.
