Technicians provide first-level support for desktop hardware:

respond to network connectivity problems — checking the network cable connection from the PC to the network closet
deploy lab images to PCs utilizing the Altiris software.

Technicians are dispatched when issues cannot be resolved over the phone by the Help Desk.
