Proposal Development Through Compression Planning with Storyboarding®

Over the past 19 years, the Sinclair Grants Development Office has been involved in over 1,840 projects generating over $92 million in grant funding. Over the past three years that averages 94 projects per year with 78% of the proposals receiving funding. A great deal of the success is because we use Compression Planning® with storyboarding to help faculty and staff to develop proposal ideas.

Why storyboarding? Because this small group process permits us to develop better project ideas and plan projects more effectively and efficiently. To learn more about Compression Planning with Storyboarding,® see the web site of the McNellis Company--a small business that provides training in this technique and sells the needed materials.

Neil Herbkersman conducts proposal planning sessions using storyboarding techniques.
