On-Line Travel

USING THE ResXSYSTEM

 

  1. Set up a Personal Profile (if you do not have one with Heritage.)
    1. Go to Heritage’s website at www.AATQuicktrip.com.
    2. Click on “Create a Profile” (yellow box on the left).
    3. Under personal information, you will see a box labeled “company”.  Select HER03 from the drop down box. 
    4. Fill out the profile with as much information as you desire.   However, all that is required is your name, an address, and phone #.
    5. Hit submit button at the bottom of the page.
    6. Your information will be transmitted to Heritage Travel.
    7. In approximately 1-2 business days, your profile should be loaded and you will be able to access ResX.

 

  1. Access the SINCLAIR ResX site
    1. Go to https://www.resx.com
    2. Company ID:   select “Heritage” from the drop down box
    3. Member ID:   enter your e-mail address
    4. Password: Do not enter anything when you sign in the first time.  Instead, click on the “login and continue” button on the lower right side of the screen.  This will take you to a site to create your password.
    5. Once the password is established, you will be taken directly to the reservation screen. 
    6. Helpful hints and a link to Sinclair’s travel policy can be found on the right side of the reservation screen.

  2. Review a demo(Optional) 

You can view an online demo of ResX by accessing www.heritage-travel.com and clicking on the “Corporate Travel” button on the left side of the page. This will take you to an article on ResX and you can click on the link and view the demonstration.

 

Helpful Hints:

  • Make sure that your pop up blocker is turned off or you will be unable to view windows such as airline seat maps or hotel maps.
  • After establishing an itinerary and securing pricing there are several things that you can do:

1.     Save as research.  You can later retrieve this information if you decide to take the trip.

2.     Reserve the itinerary.  Keep in mind that the airline reservation will be held for 24 hours and then be automatically cancelled.  However, the hotel bookings are not automatically cancelled.  You will need to cancel them if you opt not to use them.

3.     Submit for purchase.

·        If you need to change your reservation once it has been submitted for purchase, you will need to contact an agent for assistance.  Any refunds and exchanges must also be handled through an agent.

·        If you travel frequently to the same destination taking the same flights and staying at the same hotel, you might want to consider saving your reservation as a template.  That way you will only have to change the dates of travel when you make your next trip.

·        You can designate another person who can book flights for you.  However, if you want to use this feature you should contact either Connie or Tambra so this can be set up.
