ABOUT SINCLAIR

Current Year Goals: 2004 - 2005

In addition to meeting monthly during the academic year, SDIC also has an annual summer workshop to plan the overall program for the coming year.  The specific objectives for 2004-2005 include:

  1. Explore ways to improve the evaluation of professional development and training with the overall objective being the improvement of student learning.
  2. Establish a "forum of sharing" which allows employees who have participated in professional development activities to share with a wider campus audience the results of their training/development.
  3. Increase the awareness and support of supervisory personnel related to professional development needs of all employees.
  4. Increase communication related to professional development opportunities and how to apply for those activities.
