IUPUI has sponsored a National Assessment Institute yearly since 1996.  This Institute provides opportunities to learn and practice assessment methods and techniques.  In addition to workshops, participants have opportunities to experience in-depth learning opportunities from scholars and practitioners with successful assessment initiatives, many of whom regularly serve as consultants at colleges and universities across the country.  The Institute home page is located at:
