The learning centers are designed to provide the northern Miami Valley with convenient access to Sinclair's high quality, job ready education. With classes ranging form 2 to 11 weeks, plus online classes, students can complete their program faster.
Learning centers are conveniently located in Englewood and Huber Heights, connected to the YMCA.
Services available at Sinclair Learning Centers
Convenient Classes
A wide array of courses are available in a variety of formats, in cluding 5 week, 11 week, and online courses.
Admissions
Students can complete the entire enrollment process right at the Learning Center
- complete placement testing
- new student orientation
- meet with an academic adviser
- develop a class schedule, and register for classes
- obtain a Tartan Card
- pay for classes
Each learning center contains a Tartan Bookstore/Bursar where students can:
- purchase books and Sinclair merchandise
- pay for classes
- deposit money to Tartan Card
- Staff available to assist you with coursework
- New computers
- laptops available for checkout
- access to online article databases
The YMCA extends its nursery services to students attending classes at the Learning Centers. YMCA staff will care for students' children for only $1 per child per hour, up to 4 hours a day.
