ABOUT SINCLAIR

2011-2012 Cultural Diversity Grant

The Cultural Diversity Grants were established to fund projects on a yearly basis that would support the mission of Sinclair Community College and the college-wide Diversity Vision and Mission.

One of the primary goals is to establish experiences for our students, faculty, staff, and community that seek

  • To recognize and acknowledge our similarities
  • To understand and respect our differences
  • To be prepared to live, learn, and work together in a global community.

A variety of lectures, workshops, and special events have been funded over the years that are directly in support of these elements.

We encourage any faculty or staff member who has a vision to support and/or enhance Sinclair's diverse environment to submit an application for funding.

Deadline for completed applications is Spring 2012. Stay tuned for updates on this.
