Statement regarding Vaccination Policy at Sinclair Community College

Sinclair Community College does not have a policy regarding vaccinations which is generally applicable to students or employees. However, certain courses or programs, for example in health care related fields, may have requirements for specific vaccinations. 

Specific requirements for health care programs can be found in the program application packets listed on the Life and Health Sciences Division website http://www.sinclair.edu/academics/lhs/programapplicationpackets/index.cfm.

Vaccination requirements for Sinclair’s Day Care Center follow the regulations of the Ohio Department of Job and Family Services and can be found at www.jfs.ohio.gov/cdc/rules_forms.stm  For pre-school staff, the regulation is 5101:2-12-25, Employee and Child Care Staff Member Requirements for Licensed Child Care Centers and for pre-school children, the relevant regulation is 5101:2-12-37, Children's Medical and Enrollment Records for Licensed Child Care Centers.
